World's Largest Primark Store, Birmingham

Cromer (+ Fish & Chips)
Cromer is a favourite with those looking for a more traditional seaside destination. With great sandy beaches, museums, surfing, plenty of attractions and wonderful walking along the Norfolk Coast Path, Cromer is a great place any time of the year, but expecially in the summer. Cromer Pier has a lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre, home to the UK’s only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show! The pier is an enduring example of Victorian building, having withstood many storms, tidal surges and even an attempt to blow it up by the Government in WW2 to prevent the pier being used as a landing strip for enemy invaders!
We have 2 trips to Newmarket Racecourse this summer. Newmarket’s annual Royal British Legion Day is one of Newmarket Racecourses' most popular and emotive fixtures of the summer calendar and features a moving Standard Bearers Parade up the track. Not only is it an opportunity to support a very worthy cause it also promises a great day of racing with lots of entertainment including Assault Course Challenges for big and little kids alike, the Army Air Corps Lynx Helicopter and Laser Tag! Secondly, the Family Fun Day is Newmarket Races' penultimate race day of the summer, full of fun for all of the family and will also feature an appearance from everyone’s favourite bear...Paddington! As well as a thrilling afternoon of racing, there will be family sports day races and a Horseplay Roadshow will be on site throughout the day, which gives children the chance to learn through role play and interactive games.
High Lodge, Thetford Forest
High Lodge is a recreational site set in the heart of Thetford Forest offering extensive play areas, walking trails and cycling trails. There is a cafe, bike shop and hire, Go Ape Tree Top Adventure, Go Ape Junior and Go Ape Forest Segway as well as many more attractions for the whole family to enjoy. The new Heritage Trail is now open, built with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the forest!
Lowestoft Carvery & Highway Garden Centre
Carvery lunch at the Hatfield Hotel & visit to Highway Garden Centre on the way home. Famous for being the most easterly town and the first place to see the sunrise in the UK, Lowestoft has two piers, a zoo, an award-winning theme park, museums and a busy theatre which is home to the Royal Philhamonic Orchestra. Enjoy a carvery at the Hatfield Hotel which is on the sea front and overlooks the sea. Then enjoy a trip to Highway Garden & Leisure, a one-stop shop for gardening, crafts, gifts and homewares.

If you’re looking for a great day out with the whole family, Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft has it all. Younger family members will have a fantastic time exploring the Kiddie Zone with its rides which are suitable for children around one metre tall, while our family friendly rides are the perfect introduction to the theme park world. In the landscaped grounds of Thrigby Hall is a special collection of rare animals from Asia. You will find endangered tigers, huge crocodiles, noisy gibbons and many more exciting animals. Sandringham Estate & Hunstanton
Sandringham is the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 8,000-hectare Sandringham Estate, 240 hectares of which make up the woodland and heath of the Country Park, open to the public free of charge every day of the year. Skegness is the largest resort on the Lincolnshire coast and has been a holiday favourite destination for generations, home of the World's First Butlin's holiday resort which opened in 1936.
